We've just wrapped up our 6th week and I have to say that I'm pretty impressed I've made it six whole weeks! That's 1/4 the way through the cycle! I'm so good at fizzling out after about, oh, the first week. It's really helped me to have two other families who are really enjoying our time together and encouraging me along, as well as helping to facilitate our group days! What a blessing! Our local community puts together this Pioneer Day each year, but for some reason we didn't know about it until today! And today was Pioneer Day! What a perfect day to go back to the days of the Pioneers, as we are now five weeks into our American History Cycle with Classical Conversations. We don't officially participate in the CC Community groups for a number of reasons, but some friends of mine and I have our own little Rogue Group. This week, kids... we're going to try something new in school!As the primary educator for my children, I am always looking for better ways to do things, or at least looking for anything that will fit our needs and work for our family! Often times, I can't find what I need, so I create it! Here are some of my started, finished, and tossed ideas, as well as things I use and love that other creative people have thought of!
